Japanese 3D Nail Art

For many young Japanese women, 3D nail art is all the rage, especially in Shibuya and Harajuku.  The wide array of fashion themes doesn’t stop with the clothes. It’s a must to coordinate nails with the costume, and they are just as important in creating the whole ensemble. Japanese nail art is very much in vogue. Its popularity has spread all around the globe.

The Japanese nail industry is said to be raking in a billion Yen a year in sales. The cute designs make them irresistible, and there are so many to choose from, such as the ever popular Hello Kitty. There is an annual nail exhibit each year in Tokyo called Tokyo Nail Expo. The expo, a sort of nail fashion show, is a beacon for nail technicians from all over the country to convene and show off their latest creations in elaborate nail design.

3D nail art shrugs off the conventional flat acrylic nail polish colors and takes your nails to a whole new level of fancy! It makes use of small ornamental decorations, rhinestones . . . anything and everything to create magnificently intricate decorations on the rather plain old nail chips (artificial nails). This will surely liven up your casual everyday getup. Aside from elaborate artificial nail chip options, you can also stick 3D nail decor directly on your nails.
