The tea ceremony that we did was a wonderful cultural experience and it was nice getting to drink tea again.

The US program trip to Yamanashi prefecture was an unforgettable treat thanks to the natural beauty of the Japanese countryside. I feel like any chance to occasionally get out of the city and see rural locations in Japan would be great for many KCP students.

I enjoyed the Yamanashi Bus Trip and the Social Tours the most because they took us to other parts of Japan and were not just limited to Shinjuku

The peach farm; not only was the bus ride on the Yamanashi field trip very scenic and enjoyable, but picking a peach at the peach farm was an experience to remember. the peach I picked from that day was the juiciest and most delicious peach I ever ate!

I was very pleased. It was amazing.I loved that I could speak Japanese with students from all over the world.

I had the most amazing summer and I gained lots of Japanese knowledge and made many friends.

The direct method is what I found to be the most productive aspect of the program; it makes the class very engaging and interesting.

The US program special class is really intensive and I really think I improve a lot during that period.

I enjoyed the experience of living in a small one room apartment, but the best part of my building were my landlords. They are a lovely elderly couple who warmly greeted my friends and I when we returned home, and gave us cold melons to eat amidst the summer heat. The day we departed from the building, they were kind enough to offer to drive us to the station since it was raining.

Going to the peach farms, grammar class and the speech contest were all a wonderful experience.
