Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
I only participated in kotoba day but I found it to be a fun way to demonstrate Japanese proficiency. It was more fun this year than last year. The songs were better and the environment was more light.
What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?
The most productive aspect was the intensive language courses. I really felt my Japanese proficiency increase. I also liked the scheduling because it gave me plenty of free time after class.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
I found group activities to be very effective. We didn’t play many games but I think they could be a fun way to interact with classmates and practice the language.
