Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
Sporta Day was surprisingly fun and interesting. I liked most of the games/events and also the team spirit that came with it. Also, the Odawara trip was extremely interesting and I hope future students get to enjoy it as well.
What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?
The teachers that I had (Mamiya Sensei, Saitou Sensei & Kawashima Sensei) were all so kind and helpful and really added so much depth to their lessons that they made everyday learning fun and beneficial. The textbooks provided are also easy to understand. The KCP staff are also very prompt and helpful.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
Tests were good even though they were difficult because they really forced me to study and I am now able to read so much more Kanji than before. Small group sessions where we get to practise our speaking were also very useful.
