The fact that the program is very conversational was really good for learning it quickly. I also appreciate that there are options to experience Japanese culture outside of classes.

Jackson from Fall 2024

Pair work was the most helpful I think, the ability to practice conversation with another learner and mutually help each other, as well as growing more comfortable speaking to my classmates was a very positive part of the program.

I really enjoyed the Kamakura trip. It was fun to go as a group, and I found Mr.Tanaka’s knowledge about each location very insightful.

Testimonials

Going to class every day, and the workload, gave me a sense of what living in Japan would be like. I was able to learn Japanese daily, as well as have enough time in the day to study and explore the country.
