Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
The bbq was a nice opportunity to interact with everyone without the the academic environment.

Just hanging out on the second floor where I’m able to talk with students and teachers, work out problems and even help other students was very productive and interesting. I can’t think of anything that wasn’t super interesting or productive.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
In any case where a new grammar point was used and explained by the teacher in class, it would often stick. Then as teachers use these new points outside of class in conversation, these new points usually lock in quite strongly.
Anything you especially liked in the living arrangements? Any problems you experienced?
I liked finding friends in the dorm to walk home or grab dinner with.
