KCP is a great school to advance in the Japanese language.
Why did you select this program?
This program was the only program my college offered that would have provided me with the correct credits I needed for my Japanese minor. Also, KCP is an intensive institution, and I wanted to improve my Japanese in all aspects. KCP allowed for me to improve my reading, listening, speaking, and writing comprehension in one summer.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
The textbooks are the most useful material in class because everything in the book is in Japanese. The games also helped a lot because they made learning even more exciting and challenging.
Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?
For new students or those considering, KCP is a great school to advance in the Japanese language. I wish I would have started learning Japanese at KCP instead of at my home college.
